Our sustainability journey
For more than a decade, DTEK’s defence of an energy system in war has reshaped how we think about the energy transition.
Our pursuit of greater energy security has driven our need for a modern, flexible and decentralised system that is faster to deploy and harder to destroy. This is a system that emits less, advances Ukraine’s European integration and will power the country’s post-war recovery.
DTEK is already building this system. We are delivering Ukraine’s largest-ever rollout of decentralised assets, working closely with international partners to accelerate investments in wind power and other types of distributed generation, battery storage, smart grids and rooftop solar.
Throughout this transformation, our priorities remain clear. We are focused on providing reliable electricity to millions of households, supporting our people, and caring for our communities. At the same time, DTEK is setting the benchmark for corporate governance in Ukraine: as a European operator committed to transparency, ethical conduct and international best practice.

We adhere to ethical standards, responsible business practices and industry-leading compliance. DTEK’s compliance programme and anti-corruption measures are benchmarked against Europe’s leading energy companies, and DTEK is an active member of the World Economic Forum’s Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI).
In 2024, DTEK established an independent Advisory Council of globally recognised leaders from both the public and private sectors. This Council provides strategic guidance to the CEO and senior management, with a focus on ensuring that DTEK adheres to the highest governance standards and continually strengthens our anti-corruption efforts.
