Zapadenergo

Zapadenergo is one of the largest producers of electricity and heat in Ukraine. Its electricity goes to domestic consumers and is exported to European countries.

Zapadenergo includes Burshtynskaya Thermal Power Plant (TPP), Ladyzhinskaya TPP and Dobrotvorskaya TPP, as well as the Galremenergo, Lvovenergospetsremont, Lvovenergoavtotrans and Zapadenergopostavka service companies. Burshtynskaya TPP operates successfully in the UCTE/CENTREL unified European power system, satisfying domestic consumption needs and exporting 550 MW of electricity.

Zapadenergo is the third largest power generation company in Ukraine, with an installed capacity of 4,707.5 MW or around 14.2% of national power capacity. In terms of electricity output, Zapadenergo is one of the country’s leading thermal generation companies.

DTEK together with affiliate companies owns a 70.91% stake in Zapadenergo.
