Kievenergo

Kievenergo is a joint-stock company that has a total cycle of operations to supply energy to the city of Kiev, with a unified process that produces, transmits, distributes and sells electricity and heat to end consumers.

Kievenergo generates electricity at two thermal power plants (TPPs), TPP-5 and TPP-6, which have a combined installed capacity of 1,200 MW. Its electricity is transmitted via a network of aerial and cable lines with a combined length of 11,500 km. Thermal energy is produced at TPP-5 and TPP-6, as well as at heat-supply and boiler plants. The Company’s total installed heat capacity is 8,600 Gcal per hour. Heat is distributed and transported to consumers via a network of pipes totalling 4,500 km in length.

DTEK owns a 71.82% stake in Kievenergo.
