DTEK Pavlogradugol

DTEK Pavlogradugol is the largest coal-mining enterprise in Ukraine. It consists of 10 mines as well as transportation and production infrastructure enterprises. 

DTEK Pavlogradugol’s mining operations are in the Pavlograd-Petropavlovsk coal area of Western Donbass. The enterprise extracts thermal and coking coal, although its main output is the former. Its industrial reserves amount to 699.2 million tonnes. At the current rate of production, this represents enough coal for 56 years of operations.

The thermal coal mined by DTEK Pavlogradugol is used as fuel at DTEK’s power stations and exported. Its coking coal is used by Metinvest, which is part of SCM.
