The coal mining of DTEK is represented by five largest companies in the industry: DTEK Pavlogradugol (10 mines), DTEK Dobropolyeugol (5 mines), DTEK Rovenkianthracite (6 mines), DTEK Sverdlovanthracite (5 mines), DTEK Mine Komosomolets Donbassa (1 mine) and ALC Mine Bilozerska (1 mine). In addition, the coal preparation of DTEK consists of 11 preparation plants. The coal mining product is thermal and coking coal. The main consumers are companies of DTEK electricity generation.
Industrial reserves of coal: 1,157.3 million tonnes.
Electrical power generation
The electric power generation of DTEK consists of Vostokenergo, DTEK Dneproenergo (DTEK owns 72.9%), Kievenergo (DTEK owns 71.82%) and DTEK Zapadenergo (DTEK owns 70.91%). The generated electrical power is supplied to the wholesale electricity market of Ukraine.
Installed capacity of TPPs: 18.2 GW.
Electrical power sales and supply
The electrical power sales and supply of DTEK consists of the network companies Dniprooblenergo (DTEK owns 51.50%), Kievenergo (DTEK owns 71.82%), DTEK Donetskoblenergo (DTEK owns 71.34%), Krymenergo (DTEK owns 57.49%), DTEK Energougol ENE and Service-Invest. They purchase electrical power in the wholesale electricity market and sale and supply it to end consumers. Key consumers are the metal and coal industry, and population.
